3-1-1 is a telephone number that connects customers with highly-trained Customer Service Representatives ready to help you with non-emergency City and County of San Francisco government matters, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. 3-1-1 is used for services such as requesting litter removal service, determining Muni route information, and reporting a pothole.

2-1-1 is a telephone number that connects people with important community services and volunteer opportunities. 2-1-1 can be used to locate services such as food banks, clothing closets, shelters, rent assistance, utility assistance. crisis intervention services, support groups, counseling, drug and alcohol intervention and rehabilitation. adult day care, congregate meals, Meals on Wheels, respite care, home health care, and many other local services.
