| Community Indicator Description | The system uses two types of indicator dials. The three-color indicator dial shows the status of a given indicator compared to a distribution of values in the state or country : red=poor status (bottom 25%), yellow = fair (25-50%) status, and green=good (better/equal to 50%) status. The two-color indicator dial shows the status of an indicator compared to a mean or median value. |
